Am I going to hold to return with a colonoscopy?
I'm going to be 15 years old soon and i have trouble having bowel movements. I've notice this year that I'm extremely constipated and can sometimes eat so much and not have a bowel movement for a week without any niggle in my stomach area. I've tried everything recommended by my doctor like laxatives, v8 vegetable liquid, fiber cereal, bene fiber powder and dulcolax pills. None of the recommendations work except the dulcolax pills which just emptied out my stomach once. I also tried an assortment of fruits which just made my stomach extra bloated.
My main concern is where is adjectives the food going? I fear any sugary and I would really hate to have a colonoscopy. Does anyone hold any suggestions or does anyone have experience with whatever this is?

discuss this in detail next to your GI doctor.
You might need to have one. It's not that bad, and you can be completely asleep for it if you want to be (request that an anesthesiologist be involved contained by your care, and you'll be totally out - not an unreasonable request for a teenager)
Have you seen a gastroenterologist? He/she might want to check a stool test first, to see if in attendance is an imbalance in the bacteria that are supposed to live contained by your gut. Sometimes that can mess up your elimination. There are also other laxatives that might work better for you.
Good luck, and I hope you get sorted out soon.
Has your doctor suggested a lifestyle adapt? That would be my suggestion.
1. Take a stool softener (Colace or generic equivalent) everyday until you are back to being regular.
2. Adding fiber does not necessarily mean taking a fiber supplement. You should munch through foods naturally high in fiber (whole small piece breads, beans, other fruits and vegetables)
3. Drink more water 6 or more glasses of water per year.
4. Increase your daily exercise by either briskly walking, running or bike riding 30 to 40 minutes per day.
5. Take time every light of day to use the toilet. Take a step stool in with you and put your feet on the stool so that you are in actuality squating more.
There gonna stick a tube up your pooper.
And all the food is sitting in your intestines probably creating an infection, which will make you severly sick.
