Has anyone ever taken prednisone for months and be weaned bad, are you ok after?
does your body return to being able to function as before the prednisone be in the system ?

long term prednisone is used to free a life -the symptoms are too severe for a good quality of existence. BEFORE starting any med, discuss it in detail with your doctor & pharmacist.
Yes. Prednisone is great against things similar to inflammation, but the side effects can be upsetting at the best. There are some people that can take it and get little to no side effects too. I know when ever I enjoy to be on it I suffer from the sweating and concentration problems sometimes. I really don't want to need to take it once in awhile any. The thing is that this particular steroid has be proven effective for a very long time. This is why the doctors use it so much too. Why prescribe something that they're not sure will work or not and put you through it at the same time. I am weaning past its sell-by date now and have about 10 days to step. I can't wait for the days of returning to showering once a day too. Please try and stick it out. The good far outweighs the desperate here. If it didn't I'd be the first to let people know.
