General Internal Medicine Schooling?

I wanted to know how many years it takes to complete General Internal Medicine. I tried finding it on the internet but it shows me the years required for specialized internal tablets. Please do help.
If possible, please suggest medical professions that require no more than 8 years of study, and pay a decent earnings.
Please help!
Answers:
To become an internist, you will need to attend the following:

1. 4 years of college
2. 4 years of medical school
3. 3 years of residency, where on earth you specialize in internal medicine

Generally, the less time you spend within residency, the less you will get paid. For example, internal pills, pediatrics, and family medicine get salaried the least out of any physician because they only require 3 years of residency. Plastic surgeons and cardiovascular surgeons get rewarded the most because they can do up to eight years of residency.

Hope this helped.
General Medicine (General practitioner) is a graduate from medical school. Not a specialist. Takes 8 years in US.
To be an internist, after you finish you medical academy program, you have to have 3 to 4 years additional training and you are an internist but not specialize surrounded by any particular fields, like cardiologist, etc.
