Has synthroid gotten better?

I take Synthroid and while doing a little searching online I found some hoary articles from nine years ago about problems with Synthroid. Are those problems still the same nine years after that? Please provide a link to current facts, not just your own opinion and personal experiences. I know medication effects each person differently.
Answers:
Millions of people still use it instead of the generic variant, so yes, its safe.

However, if you have never taken it before you may want to try a generic and see how you do next to that, as that will save you a bit of money.

Its the same idea as Coumadin/Warfarin....some empire have been on one for so long, they don't want to mess with something that works by switching to the brand or vice versa.
