What do drug doctors do?

Medicine doctors are one of the branch of doctors who have the ability to give population what medicine they need
First bad, I couldn't agree more with Jerry 71 :) As both an internist and Emergency Physician, my time is pretty well occupied. Internal medical doctors, contained by addition to what Jerry pointed out, are also very much involved in subspecialties of internal medicine----things similar to neurology, nephrology, urology, etc. The hours are long, the pay after taxes and paying for malpractice insurance, professional fees, maintaining an office, talks payroll, unrealistic expected financial contributions to your alma mater, and a dozen other line items, is not at all what most people expect! You know it's bad when your own wife and kids have to make an appointment to see you-----and the kids wonder and ask mom why daddy get home so late 6 nights a week!

Besides all that-----it's the greatest profession surrounded by the world. Source(s): MD Internal and Emergency Medicine
They work to death, have a lot of expenses and take poor reimbursement from insurance companies. The patients they see are often the most demanding (both literally and figuratively) and take the most time. They get insulted by ppl who transmit them that they are just "general drs." and not specialists.

If you were asking what internists (physicians surrounded by the specialty called "internal medicine") do, they are what you would think of as "family doctors." Though they give somebody a lift care of many illnesses, they mostly treat high blood pressure, giant cholesterol, diabetes, flu, sore throats, etc. They tend to NOT do surgery except for some in office surgery like mole removal, sewing up small cuts, etc.
