Has any of you have a liver transplant?

My old liver was destroyed by a biliary disease that cause cirrhosis. I was sent to a transplant center by my gastroenterologist. They evaluated me which includes a lot of medical testing. A board of doctors and other medical professionals go over all my testing and decided whether or not I would be a worthy candidate for transplant. I was notified by post that I was accepted to be placed on the national waiting list for an organ. I wait 18 months on the list before I was call for my transplant. It took them 10 hours to do my surgery. I was in the hospital for 63 days before I be able to come home. It took me about 6 months to recuperate somewhat put a bet on to almost normal again. It's been 3 years now and I am doing fine. If you want any more details than that just let me know.
