Are here any over the counter diet pills that truly work?
I have tried exercising and cutting back on my food intake but I am still not losing counterweight as well as I would like. It is hard for me to find a past the worst diet pill because I am also taking Effexor. Does anyone know of any good diet pills that I can take along with my perscription drug?

Alli (aka Orlistat) does work - it stops the body from absorbing fat. BUT it should only be used by those whose BMI is above a certain even (i.e. if you are clinically obese, not just plump) & the pharmacist is supposed to check your bmi before selling it.

Other over the counter diet aids are dubious. Alli (Orlistat) was a prescription only drug that be prescribed to obese patients, therefore medically proven. You can expect to lose 25% more than dieting alone.
Personally I prefer the harder & proven diet & exercise.
