Is this a Basiliar type migraine, or a regular migraine?
Every few weeks I get extremely painful migraines. With them come temporary loss of reverie, auras, or weird tunnel vision, EXTREME confusion (this is the biggest symptom. I can't understand or read anything, and summary I have written to myself while getting a headache are just scribbles... though I thought I in reality was writing something), dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and extreme difficulty with speech.
They are horrible experiences and I was wondering if they are regular migraines, or something worse.

Its pretty clear you own a serious headache problem that should be handled by a headache specialist. Categorizing your migraine/headache should be done by that specialist because it does have implications for treatment and course. That human being said, it sounds like you have confusional migraines or a confusional/basilar migraine hybrid. That categorization depends on getting more info from you and examining you...see an expert contained by person.
