A work-mate's wife is one, and she has always had and unproblematic time finding employment wherever they move.

Seems like a nice career, the occasion to really do good, find glaucoma, other medical conditions, help people. What you do doesn't produce physical pain, and people are not upset that they have to see you, approaching dentistry.
