Would you consider the amount of stomach-ache after a C-section comparable to appendix removal surgery or worse?
I am having a C-section on the 25th. In the past I has my appendix removed and a femoral hernia repaired. Will the C-section aftermath be much worse than those surgeries or is it comparable?

I can not compare the two as I own only had the c-section. I didn't have much torment immediately after. After I got home, I didn't have any. I didn't even bother to compress my pain pill prescription. However, I did become ill the second day after the c-section. Apparently my digestive system forgot it needed to work so everything I put surrounded by my mouth eventually came out my mouth. I think that is call distention. Even with those kinds of muscle contractions I didn't have just about any pain. For me the heaving was much worse than any pain.

I have also have both. Although I had the appendectomy when I was young, it be pretty rough to recover from, as they cut through three layers of abdominal muscles to get to it. Add to that the reality that I was pretty sick before it. Did you have your appendix removed prophylactically, or be it inflammed?
A Cesarean section is usually accomplished through a low transverse incision, as small horizontal (8-12 cm) incision right above the pubic bone. Then they cut into the uterus, usually again with a horizontal incision contained by the lower uterine segment (junction of the uterine body and the cervix).
I had to have mag sulfate before my Csection, and that be far worse than the surgical post-op pain. I was pretty non-functional and close to death during that postop time, and don't remember it incredibly well, but in theory, the Csection should be easier to get better from, because of the typical incision they make and how it heals back.
