What is better for becoming a doctor Biology or Pre-med?
I'm not sure which one is better my college has both.

STUDY WHAT YOU ENJOY! I wish I would own majored in art history or political science. All you need to do is take your one year of physicas, bio, chem, and natural chem to prepare for the MCAT.
Med schools love the candidate who has the amount in english or spanish.

Don't do any pre-med programme. Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Biochemistry are terrifically good majors. But major in doesn`t matter what you want as long as you take the courses you need for medical school and do completely well in them.
Pre-med is not a good impression because if you change your mind for any reason or you don't get into medical university, or you get sick you will have a worthless degree. But biology, chemistry, and the others can be used within many other professions.

There is a Pre-Med curriculum that most Med schools want you to have. You can major contained by underwater basketweaving, just get A's in the curriculum courses. The curriculum is heavily built in the sciences, so most major in a science- Chem , Biology, Zoology are popular. Source(s): MD
The pre-med track is just a convenience, to make sure you transport the needed courses. I started out that way, found out I liked college, took an extra-heavy course load (just because seriously of things looked interesting to me) and wound up, quite by accident, with majors contained by both biology and chemistry. It really doesn't matter what your major is, so long as you get contained by the courses that the medical schools require. So within that context, you're welcome to pursue anything that interests you.
Any major is fine, but you might want to pick something that is to say useful in case you don't procure into medical school.
