Pharmacy?

In order to become a pharmacist what education does one need? Do you enjoy to have a bachelors and then apply to pharmacy school approaching you would apply to medical school or is there a 4-year program within like peas in a pod college
Answers:
You usually are an undergrad for about 3 years, then you transport the pcats and apply to a pharmacy school. You do not have to obtain an undergraduate amount, to get into pharmacy school, however, that is an substitute.
DaddyRX is right, you can go to a 6 year school like I am currently within.

Alternately, you can get a bachelors degree first and then apply to a 4 year academy.

The first type of school is called a 0-6 and isn't as hard to go and get into as a 4+4 school.

The downside about a 0-6 school is that you don't win a degree until you complete the program [all you get is a PharmD degree]

And once you graduate from both school you receive a PharmD degree.
1) Graduate from High School with the best grades possible.
2) Get accepted into a College of Pharmacy (it's very competitive).
......No necessitate to get a bachelors first, you go straight from HS.
3) Graduate after 6 years of schooling.
4) Take and pass the national Pharmacy exam and your States Jurisprudence exam.
5) Then you can telephone yourself a Pharmacist
