Can penicillin be used to treat UTI's? and How recurrently can penicillin be used in the past it become ineffective?

I'm wondering, because my dentist/oral surgeon prescribed it for me before my wisdom teeth came out, as they be infected. It really helped. It's been about 2 months, and that nouns should have been healed by very soon, but I'm beginning to have pains again. Also, I feel as if I'm getting a UTI. I've be getting pains in my abdomen, but also in the kidney nouns the way I did when I had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection. So I'm thinking that I may need a "multipurpose" antibiotic. if I steal the bottle of penicillin that was extra, will it kill both bacteria or will it be too close to the end dose to be effective? Thank you :)

There are better drugs to treat UTI's than PEN. Talk to your Dr.
It isn't that it's too close to the last use. The problem is that urinary infections are caused by germs that almost never are treatable using penicillin. The bacteria you'd expect from a finicky kind of infection must be matched to the activity spectrum of the antibiotic chosen. That's why it's smart guys with correspondence behind their names that pick what antibiotics to use for what.
I wouldn't recommend using any antibiotic without first talking to your doctor, especially if you've have UTI's before that turned into a kidney infection.

It's not that there's a limit to the number of times you can take penicillin, it's that you might be infected near a bacteria that is immune to penicillin (for example, there are Methycillin-Resistant strains of Staphylococcus Aureus, which can murder kids & old ppl and are really hard to get rid of adjectives because ppl used too much methycillin so the bacteria that were immune to methycillin were competent to reproduce better than those that weren't, and now we have to use numerous antibiotics in conjunction to treat an infection that 50 years ago 1 antibiotic would destroy entirely). In sum, don't add to the problem: go see your doctor & get a unknown prescription.
