Quetiapine is this a usual side effect?

i have been prescribed quetiapine by my psychiatrist i started them on tuesday am on 50mg in the morning and 50mg at hours of darkness sincew i started taking them my mouth has been really dry and the roof of my mouth is really sore its painful to swollow. i also touch really out of it is that normal.

i sometimes take temezepam and zoliclone aswell canthese affect them?

I take Quetiapene and hold never experienced any mouth pain, although dry mouth is a common side effect of a lot of drugs. The most adjectives sid effect of Quetiapine is sleepiness. i would talk to your doc just to make sure
They are commonplace side effects of this type of medication.
Keep a bottle of water with you as dry mouth = bad breath.
If your throat get any worse then see a doctor as it could be an allergic reaction.
