Will an F surrounded by a tech academy class diminish my probability of getting into med conservatory?
Will a sub-par tech school transcript really hurt my chances of being standard into med school.
I attended a tech school for a technical ticket, and was not very concerned about the shape of my GPA. I get an A in the classes I attended regularly, but failed to go through the correct motions of withdrawing contained by one class, and received an F as a result. Since I was not even considering med school at the time, I was not concerned near this. I have since tested out of the same class.
Also, I have taken in the region of half of my general education requirements at a tech institution and transferred them to my four year college. I received A's in all of these classes, but will med schools look down upon these tech arts school credits? Will they even recognize them as credits?
With all these blemishes considered, do I stand a chance of getting within to med school? I have a 3.9 GPA as a biology major, and plan on doing volunteer work at a local hospital in the past taking the MCAT.
my tech certificate was welding if that make a difference. I know I have odd career interests.
Thank you for your time

You never know what will evolve until you try. If it's something you really want....go for it. The "odd career interests" may intrigue an admission officer, as long as you ace the MCATs. You should do what you can to walk a straight line from here forward ie. NO MORE SCREW-UPS.
