Are the trainee doctors really treated as scantily by the doctors similar to surrounded by Holby city?

In Holby City, the trainee doctor people who are there seem to win treated quite harshly and nobody ever seems to be encouraging to them and nobody ever requests to help do all the stuff with them they call for to. In real life is it like this?
Answers:
This is the first I've ever hear of "Holby City," and our training system in the US is different from yours, but I can promise you that the life of our medical students and resident physicians (in post-graduate training) is not a happy one. It's also my perception that your trainees work considerably shorter hours than our residents, who only recently have be restricted to an average of 80 hours per week. Not only is there a massive amount of information to be absorbed, one must swot up to work under extreme conditions without becoming rattled or making an error, so there's reason bringing up the rear the madness. So, sight unseen, I would imagine there's nought about it that's incredible.
