Why might someone choose to be an organ donor?

They might choose too because they are either brain late and cannot function anymore or they are a match and it won't do any harm to them.
Someone might be an organ donor because he or she might want to contribute to benefit society after his or her death. The organ that is donated might be used for medical or scientific purposes such as conducting experiments or completing a transplant. I guess that is why people might donate their organs.
Why not? After you die, you don't need your body anymore. Why not go the useful parts to someone who does need them?
One may feel the have need of to give someone else a lead to a better life than theirs. Or so they can make available the said person a second chance.
