Is blood type genetic?

I'm type O- and my sister is type O+. What would that make our brother? And from which parent is blood type passed down? Or is that all just a business of whose genes are dominant? If anyone has a link that tells me adjectives of this I would appreciate it please; I haven't been able to find anything, just stuff roughly how blood type defining personality is big in Japan.
Answers:
yes it is
it is genetic, there is no way in recounting which parent you get it from..your brother is most likely O also.
You get 1 epistle from each parent and A and B are codominant. This means A and B are considered equal and are both over O. This means if you own a parent that is AO, they have type A blood. The only process for type O is OO. Since you and your sister are both O, it is decently likely that your parents are O, but you cannot know for sure. The only blood type you can be sure of is it isn't AB for any parent. For your sister and you to have different Rh values (+/-), you know your parents are either both mixed or 1 is mixed and the other is negative--but know why to know which one. The site below has some information roughly speaking blood types and inheritance. Source(s): http://www.givelife2.org/aboutblood/bloo…
