Well that explains Mad Cow Disease. A blood transfusion went seriously wrong somewhere.
In medieval times they tried EVERYTHING they could think of to treat literally ANY condition. So yes, I'm sure this happen. Humans injected with cow blood would have a sever reaction because the proteins within the cow blood would be attacked by our immune systems. This could kill a person. Don't try it at home!
