Does Imperial College and UCL use UKCAT within tally to BMAT?

Answers:
No. They only use the BMAT. Having applied to both unis I can tell you that UCL uses the BMAT as a stronger criteria for selection for interview than Imperial. As long as you fulfill the minimum requirements, if you bring back at least 5.0, 5.0 and 9.0 on the BMAT you'll get interview at UCL. You can ask them yourself they'll confirm this. Imperial can reject you with a elevated BMAT score if your statement is pants (I found this out the hard way), Im not sure but they may want a minimum of 4.5, 4.5, 7.5 but I cant be sure. No, it's one or the other. If you are required to sit the BMAT, you won't be asked to do the UKCAT aswell and vice versa. Source(s): Cardiac Nurse
