Becoming a Cardiologist?

I'm planning on going to college and taking courses to become a Cardiologist. While I'm in college, would it be a good idea to become a Cardiology Technician so I could take more experience in that field before I bring out of college?
Answers:
It's definitely not a necessity. Just put your energy into getting excellent grades, volunteering in a hospital, scoring very well on the MCAT junior year, and doing several extra curricular activities. And besides, during medical school you may change your mind give or take a few your specialty. Who knows? My advice though is to focus on getting into medical school first earlier you decide on anything. I hope this helped :) Source(s): Future cardiologist :)
