I would imagine that the physician who ordered this test will refer you to any a neurosurgeon or an orthopedic surgeon. It is impossible to provide any specific answers without being able to see the metaphors and perform a detailed history and physical examination. It's possible that you may be advised to go through surgery, but this would depend on what symptoms you have and whether or not they correlate with the abnormalities on your MRI.

MRI reports from radiologists tend to go off an impression that there are worse problems than a surgeon would get from like peas in a pod image, which is due to the fact that the radiologist's job is to identify any and adjectives abnormalities on an image. A surgeon's job is to look for things that can be fixed beside surgery, which is an entirely different goal. In other words, this list of "abnormalities" may not be too severe at all. Again, it's impossible to say-so without more information which cannot be obtained over the internet.

You should discuss these results with the physician who ordered the oral exam and take his/her recommendations about how to proceed into consideration. Source(s): I'm a neurosurgeon.
MRI's are really annoying. I have to get one on my head and it was extremely loud. The woman that did it for me asked if I considered necessary music so of couse I listened to some, but it was hard because of how loud th gadget was.
Just be ready for holding still and the noise.
