Can a minor demur treatment?

Im not talking like a 4 year old but...say-so a 16 or 17 year old...Can they refuse treatment at the hospital.Do they override there parents...what if nearby parents arn't present...Do they have the right to refuse treatment...Or can doctors treat them regardless of what they want?
Answers:
No the parent or guardian decides the treatment. A minor can make the parents decision, but it is the parents who give the consent and therefore desire on treatments
