Is this type of surgery recommended for a singer?

i would like to have surgery to reduce the size of my adams apple, im deeply embarrassed,but one concern, i am also a singer, i would never want to harm my vocal cords, what should i do, and are their other men contained by my situation that actually wanna be men out there.
