What are some gloomy points roughly speaking euthanasia?

Answers:
If your discussion about "human" euthanasia then hear me out.
A 345 day long coma lenient is euthanised.....but he was going to wake up on day 346....that's one cynical.
All the negative points are going to be purely ethical. Euthanasia isn't always the proper method to take, but if a individual is in dire untreatable pain and they're sane and mentally healthy satisfactory and decide to want this then I say stir for it. Any individual should have the last say when it comes to the preservation or disposal of their own time.

Wait are you talking strictly about animals or humans?Or in broad?

-edit: Stunter, that is pure speculation and makes for a lousy argument.
I like your answer, ZJS.
animals die?
Euthanasia rocks if it is for the end to physical suffering. If it be legalized, it would be incredibly regulated so that doctors wouldn't get sued. There would be very little access to a pleasant end if you be lets say slowly drowning in your own puss contained by your lungs until your doctors insurance could be definitively proven without a doubt that you were indeed physically suffering a slow and painful release. You'd probably have to find a way to get out of America and be euthanized by some other country first to avoid the suffering. So I assume the worst thing about euthanasia would be the waiting period.
some would argue that enthusiasm has intrinsic value and that you should never prematurely end it. at hand is also the pragmatic argument that there is always a chance that a cure for a disease might be found or some sort of miraculous turnaround contained by the condition of the patient, ie there is always hope. nearby are also religious arguments that essentially say euthanasia is equivalent to murder.

Also, arguments are made that doctors/insurance people/family members might have ulterior ($) motives contained by ending the life of a patient untimely or that a patient who is undergoing a medical crisis and requests euthanasia might not be of sound mind to net such a decision.

Just for balance's sake, there are relevant arguments that can be made to counter those points, but that's not what you asked Source(s): Im a medical student and got an A+ within a medical ethics class as an undergrad (enjoyed arguing both sides of many ethical issues)
Your pet will die and you will be sad Source(s): I saw my friend get her cat put to sleep in her arms.
Well there is no known cure for it. Once administered it is fatal to humans and animals alike so I would strongly push for against you trying it !! Source(s): Pro Life.
zilch at all
