I can't find anywhere what on heart means " below stereotaxis guide"....what is it? rx? magnetic field...something else?
Answers:
Stereotactic surgery uses a fixed frame of reference to locate specific positions inwardly the body. This frame of reference is generated by using multiple angles of imaging. In the breast, mammographic images are shot from the three axes of common space, allowing a 3-dimensional "map" of the breast to be created. The surgeon can then locate and access any mass quickly and cleanly without "poking around", thus allowing for a much smaller number invasive and destructive procedure. Source(s): Wikipedia
