What is it similar to to be a Surgeon and is it possible to enjoy social/personal go?
How is the Surgeon's social and personal life?
Can they have successful marriage, and still own parties?
And whats the difference between the different specialties in that field, resembling for example would a cardiologist have more time than neurosurgeon?

Well there are many factor that one would have to consider when answering this question.
Yes, surgeons have somewhat of a social vivacity, but it can easily be disrupted when duty calls. Every surgeon on call have gotten a call at 2 A.M on a snowy morning. It all depends on your work environment. For example, if you are in a group practice, the more doctors that are within the practice, the less nights you will have to appropriate call.
Do not get me wrong, surgeons have an extremely tough energy. No ordinary person can become a surgeon. I do not believe a cardiovascular surgeon has more time bad than a neurosurgeon.
If you decide to become a surgeon, I am sure you will find some time to fit in what is important to you.
A cardiologist is not a surgeon; cardiology is a subspecialty of internal prescription. The surgical equivalent is a cardiothoracic surgeon.
Most of the surgeons I know work reasonable hours, although they have to be on call and available for emergency, sometimes one night a week, sometimes more. Source(s): I'm a physician.
