My brothers dumbass took about 3 or 4 hydrocodone from my dads medicine cabinet why did he take them?Can they be used to procure high??And how long before the high take action?And how long does the high last?exact he was acting weird!pleas help im startled!

Your brother will get high from it, probably for a few hours, and after he'll settle down and be fine. Tell your dad, though, because it's very addictive and he may want to hide his narcotics from now on and check your brother into treatment.

Yes, he can get high off them, and if he took 3 or 4 of them, to be precise more than enough to get him high. It will pinch effect probably within 30-45 minutes and the high will probably last 2-3 hours and totally wear bad in about 6 hours.

Hydrocodone causes respiratory depression and the acetaminophen will do liver damage if taken in high adequate doses. The usual max dose of acetaminophen for an adult is 4 g per day (4000 mg). He would have to purloin 8 of these to reach that dose, and that is when liver damage is a definite possibility, which can be fatal. If he's smaller, then a lesser amount would incentive liver damage. Also, if someone overdoses on hydrocodone, they can just stop breathing and die.
If he only took 3-4, he should be fine, unless he's a small kid or something. He will get hold of a buzz and it will wear off. However, if he gets hooked on them and takes hulking doses everyday, he could get in trouble health-wise. Also, if he gets hooked, the withdrawal that result from not taking them can be extremely unpleasant.
