10 mg Valium value?
I'm going to get my wisdom teeth out under local anesthesia and be given, by my surgeon, a single 10 mg Valium pill. I had impacted canines and was given Nitrous Oxide and it had an adverse effect. Is it a adjectives result for the Valium as well? Thanks.

It Is common to give Valium back a procedure such as Wisdom teeth extraction, but not to send home with you. When is your surgery and did the Surgeon tell you when to filch it? Valium begins to take effect about 30 minutes after taken by mouth, so I don't know why they wouldn't only just give it to you at the office right before your surgery. The effects of Valium final at least 6 hours, peak is about 2 hours after taken. I'm sure it's human being given for anxiety since you said nitrous gave you adverse effects in the past. So to answer your question- No, it is not exceptional. But giving you the pill to take home is uncommon. (unless I'm misunderstanding what you said)
It's most probably being given for anxiety, not agony. It should be quite effective for that.
Valium is a benzodiazepene-a different class of drug than Nitrous. If the Nitrous made you freak out, Valium should do the reverse. I have never hear of anyone panicking on a benzo...if you tend to be an anxious person, you'll feel approaching you've reached Nirvana for a few hours.
