I just this minute have my gallbladder removed. Before the surgery my liver enzymes where on earth big.?
5 days later I went in for another blood testing. I received the results and the levels went down, but not back to majority. Is there any reason for me to be concerned or is it my body taking time to go pay for to normal. Please help I have to walk for another blood test this weekend and I am worried something else may be wrong.
I also had a routine blood test and May and my enzymes be all normal. HELP ME ! Thank you
Answers:
When gallstones pass through the bile duct, it can affect your liver enzymes. The ones most commonly elevated are alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT or γGT).
It generally takes some time for the enzymes to return to normal. No need to be worried.
This is without blemish normal. Don't worry about it at adjectives. Source(s): I'm a nurse.
