What does the hospital provide for you when you are admit for surgery?

I'm talking about personal care items.
Answers:
A casket.
I guess it depends on which hospital, but usually your basic requirements...soap, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.
linens, purify basin, tissues, toothpaste, toothbrush (it won't be oral B) soap (it won't be Oil of Olay) shaving cream, razor.

for gynecologic surgery they will give you pads- probably huge and contained by a box with extras to take home. you will not have to bring your own pad, but bring a few anyway if you don't want to use one of the mattress-sized for the ride home.
if you have special cleansing needs, a bottle/sitz bath will be provided.

only to be sure, you could call the surgeons office. they usually have a nurse liason to answer these question
