Pharmacist or nursing which one is better?
how long would i have to take college to become a pharmacist ? m going to be a freshman

It's much more fulfilling to become a nurse, I reflect on the schooling is shorter though.
Pharmacies are only in it for the money, I'm studying Holistic Health right now and it's merely sickening what those companies do to brainwash the public and make more money.
to become a pharmacist you have need of to get a phd. so your looking at about 8-10 years of school. they do attain paid very well though but you won't delight in that money till all the school loans are paid stale.
if you want instead become a pharmacy tech. you can do a 2 year thing to get certified or some places will hire without a records and will train you themselves. they make decent money as well, i would vote average of at least $15. and that is starting.
a nurse, well you can achieve into a program but you start at the bottom. many that i know that went through a nursing program started off at convalescent homes. some continued on beside the program and others bailed. so its up to you. a nursing program is usually a few years but sometimes the waiting list is longer, depends on where you go.

Pharmacist. It depends on where you turn to school, but I think its about 6 years very soon. For the first two you do prepharmacy which is just the basic courses u need for pharmacy, close to physics, chem, bio, stuff like that. Then you take the pcat, then you apply to pharm conservatory. Then once you get it its another 4 years but its worth it. If you are interested in it you should go for it.

I'd say being a pharmacist would earn you the most money, but you call for a starting capital to open up your own pharmacy, unless you can get a employment at a hospital or something like that.
Apart from that, they're really nothing alike.

i dunno roughly where you are, but here pharmacy is a 4 year course, then a 1 year internship.
nursing is probably a bit shorter maybe 3-4 years.
but if you close to science and chemistry do pharmacy

And 2 years of broad + 4 years of pharmacists college.
And you have to pass a licensing exam.

Nursing takes fewer years and smaller amount study but they don't get paid as much. A pharmacist has to travel through all the usual medical school and can make much more money.
I am surrounded by nursing school and of course, my answer is nursing. Nursing is way more rewarding but you can't be good-for-nothing. When I graduate and get a couple years of exprience, I am going for my masters in nurse anesthetist. They make capably over $115,000 a year. My sister battled the same decision and she chose nursing. Much better choice, you can other work overtime if you want extra money or travel the world. Much better than counting pills in my opinion.

both careers are almost equally valued in society or you can say both are one of the most reputable job in the market.
if you like helping associates and like woring at a faster pace, nursing could be a great choice for you.
and if you want to earn little more money and dont like intense situations, try thinking going on for becoming a pharmacist.
