Depends what you are after really, but for med student level up to anyone who is not currently a surgeon or anatomist Gray's Anatomy for Students is the best in my opinion.

Netter's atlas of human anatomy is a perfect alternative at the same level.

Either Netter's or Gray's flash cards are great for revision (my university uses all the Netter's pictures contained by exams which is rather handy :P) Source(s): i'm a med student
Netter's is the classic text but I prefer real photographs to drawings and thus I used the Rohen "Color Atlas of Anatomy." Also the Moore book, "Essential Clincial Anatomy" is also very adjectives.
