What is best foremost to carry into medical conservatory?
I know the required pre-requisites for medical schools, but I can't decide what would be best for me to major within and what would look the best. I like Physics and Biology a lot and I was liking towards majoring in one of those. However I'm also really interested in studying Jewish Theology (I know it doesn't have to do near science but I'm Jewish). What would look best to the medical schools? Do science majors get preference over non-science majors? I quality I could do well in any of the subjects I mentioned, I go to Yale and I own a near perfect GPA so far.

My impression of most undergraduate physics programs is that most students do not own the math background to understand the material specifically being presented. They just pass them near easy tests to keep the numbers up surrounded by the major.
Consider a B.Sc. in Biology with I don`t know a minor in chemistry, and have your last year mortal in a Medical Technology program at a teaching hospital.
This way you will enjoy your pre-requisites filled, know alot of medical topics, and be qualifed to work in a high emergency area related to medicine in travel case their is a snag while going to med school (like raising children, ect).
P.S.: consider taking a class in Finite math, it requires lone College Algebra, and is no more difficult than College Algebra, but properly prepares you for the math in genetics and statistics that you will have to purloin. Too many biology majors get hurt in those classes because they did not follow the math of combinations/permutations.
Your highest does not matter, just take the MCAT, and purloin the pre req courses. The only upside of majoring in a science field would be an easier time surrounded by the first 2 years, as they are mostly fundamental science classroom stuff, which you could be very good at before getting to med institution.
thats totally up to you. med school doesn't nurture if you're and art major as long as you take the prereqs and get a clad score on the MCAT. i'm a biology major right now (same situation you be in - had to decide from biology and biomedical engineering) some med school would like to see some students that are out of the norm - just shows that they are flexible and not narrow minded
Major does not matter. Go with what interests you the most and see butt on the MCAT. Med schools don't care what you majored in.
Jewish theology may in actuality make you a better physician, as you will have taken a serious look at what makes us human, and at some major issues in life.
There is shortage of doctors in the US and Canada and the pay is good.
The other string of work there is enough people getting into that.But near is major shortage of doctors .
And not enough money and medical people.If money can grow on trees and everyone can be a doctor most adjectives of are problems would go away.
