Celexa Side effects be in motion away?
Yesterday morning I took 10mg of Celexa, a little around an hour after ingest I started feeling weird, a touch sick. By 1o'clock I felt like someone had given me nitquil and closely of marijuana, I was seriously like stoned. I couldn't concentrate, I was repel, tired, couldn't seem to hold a convo, and I actaully got lost and forgot where I be going when I was walking home. I was going to meet up near my friends and within 10 minutes of being around them I realized that I be in no state to hang out with society. I don't really remember parts of yesterday, it was like I was really stoned. Finally, around 10 closing night I passed out, only to wake up at midnight and hold troubles going back to sleep. I woke up a few more times last night and at one point couldn't shift back to sleep after an hour and after I ate to help my stomach. I just woke up and have a feeling mildly refreshed....
Is this normal? Do these side effects subside?
Answers:
Contrary to the first answer, some people DO enjoy similar effects from low doses of drugs like Celexa. Taking it at bedtime may help.
If you're patient, but still can't tolerateit, name your doctor.
This is not normal- most people do not have such a reaction to a low dose of Celexa. Typical criticism includes drowsiness/nausea/diarrea (but go away after 3-4 days) It sounds like you could be on other medication that amplified this effect or you may be extra sensitive to this drug. I would call your MD/RPh and report your rxn and how to procede.
