What is a average mg. prescribed for doxycyline?
my doctor just prescribed me to Doxycycline 100 mg. for acne. It's an antibiotic used for bacteria infections such as acne. i'm just wondering if 100 mg. is ample because for the past year my acne has gotten so bad and i've tryed everything out in that. proactive didn't work, clinic 3-step didn't work. prescription acne lotions didn't work either so now i'm just using plain outmoded soap and water like the doctor told me because all the other wash and what not just irritated me skin and made it look worse. well, its been months presently with the plain old soap and water and it's still looking worse so in a minute im going to try this prescription pill and from what i heard it works well.
how anyone taken this medication?
has it worked?
is 100 mg. plenty?

It is extremely helpful in patients next to moderate to severe acne that is unresponsive to OTC topicals. You may have to give it a month or so to see full results, but most those respond well.
