Im thinking of going to edinburgh to study drug?
What A levels and GCSEs would be best to take?
What grades would i have to catch these?
Answers:
No, dont do it, Glasgow is much better than edinburgh, trust me on this one.
Basically for GCSE's you want all the science's (biology, chemistry, physics) and you want maths and english.
At A level you want two of biology, chemistry, physics and maths, and any subject of your choice.
Be aware you require pretty much straight A's in the english system if you are applying to a scottish uni.
Other than grades in attendance are more important things.
In your application, proper work experience is probably the most important single factor, moreso than grades.
You need to know how to prove you really want to be a doctor and will do watever is necessary.
I applied just last year so know plenty roughly speaking it.
Also, edinburgh do not give interviews, so dont count on that as a strong point.
If you want any more info, i do have more but wont type it all here, so transport me a private message if you want to know more.
Good luck. Source(s): 1st year med stud glasgow

Are you in the uk?
