I own a medical sound out?

My dog was recently hit by a car and he shattered one of his spinal disks. We took him to return with surgery and they managed to secure a disk that would allow him to use the bottom half of his body again. The problem is that his muscles own atrophied a bit and he is having trouble relearning how to walk as I put it. He is also epileptic however. I was wondering if anyone beside a medical background or previous experience could answer this for me:would inducing a controlled seizure be a good road to stimulate lower body movement or would there be more damage done than help?
Answers:
I don't know how you would "introduce a controlled seizure". If he have seizures induced by a particular stimulus, that is possible. At most minuscule it happens in humans.

In any event , seizures are not polite for the brain, and would do more harm than good. What you are after is CONTROL, and you don't get controlled movement surrounded by a seizure. Exercise and stretching would be much better. Perhaps you should have a talk beside the Vet--- Source(s): Neurologist
