I enjoy trouble swallowing pills, and assistance please?
I take this daily pill (usually, Monday - Friday), but sometimes not every day. Anyway, it help me be motivated to do the work at school. I can not swallow the pill though, my body rejects it. Even though I can swallow pieces of food much larger then the pill.
So, I usually break open it, and poor out the powder into some cool thrash, and I eat that. Sometimes it can taste nasty. Is at hand anything I can do to help me sallow this pill? Thanks [:

I used to have like peas in a pod problems. I had to take a pill for tonsillitis every day for a week. The approach I learned to swallow pills is by swallowing them with something thick: ie. milk, milkshake, fruitshake or pudding. You next have a hard time feeling where on earth the pill is in your mouth and after a few tries you manage to swallow it. I kept doing this with any pills I have to take and now I can swallow pills no problem.
Capsules are often time-released medicine. Breaking them apart is not the right course of action.
Put the pill in a spoonful of pudding, yogurt, or applesauce. It works every time - especially if the pill is *completely covered*.
The pills usually taste awful no situation what you do. Try a little sugar or syrup. the sweetness might help. maybe you can obtain the pill in liquid form or a gel tablet. Those are a little better than solid pills.
What is the pill? Is it in a medication because it is time released? If it says extended release or xl xr for example that would possibly indicate that you should not open it. You should check with your physician/pharmacist for the best bearing for you to take whatever medication it is.
