Grey's Anatomy vs. genuine hospitals?

I was just wondering is Greys Anatomy anything like physical American hospitals. I mean, I know it's not that dramatic, but do people hook up sometimes? Do they have as much fun as within Grey's? How interesting are the cases? And please tell me schools do I have to shift to? Because I'm from Serbia and I'm thinking I might go to med school in USA. How long does med college last? How old are you when you go within?
Answers:
I for one try to make out as often as possible with coworkers... dawdle.
It's a fiction television show, hon... does that make clear to you anything Source(s): dad and husband both mds.
It's totally unrealistic. Residents have minimal free time.

Here's the usual time frame:

college : 4 years
Med school : 4 years (start around age 22-23)
Residency : 3 years minimum, more for specialties, up to 8 years
