I only just changed from prozac capsule to generic tablets. I in a minute hold uncompromising nausea. That a side effect?

I had no problem with the capsules. And I've be on Prozac for years with no problems until the chemist gave me to these "prozac tabs"
Answers:
In theory prozac can cause nausea, but their should be no difference between the generic and brand nickname. The only reservation I have in making this statement is that for some family, it takes up to 30 days for any given constant daily dosage for the blood levels to arrive at their steady state level.

Other than this, you need to check what you really got.
note that the nausea may be related to something else- even mental anxiety over the switch. Are you worried that the medicine won't work as powerfully? If so, you could be giving yourself that nausea.

It could also be that something in the tablets tends to upset your stomach- something different than the contents of the capsule. This i be aware of is less likely, because the tablets are so small they wouldn't contain enough of any one ingredient to result in a day-long persistent reaction.

My first guess is either- you're sick becasue you've got some humane of stomach bug or you're sick because you're worried about something.

If neither of those is the case, and you honestly think its the tablets themselves, christen the pharmacist back and im sure they'll switch it out for you.
