How much oxygen do our lungs bear out of a breath?
OK to clarify, the air we breath is 21% oxygen so how much of the original 21% gets used by our lungs?
Thank you.
Answers:
Expired nouns contains about 17% oxygen. What you breathe out is still sufficient to maintain life, hence the nouns of mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. At rest we actually take up and use about 250 ml/min of oxygen, while breathing 5-6 litres/min of nouns Source(s): Physiology textbook stuff
