Animal carrying out tests and pharmaceutical medicine?

Should those against animal testing use pharmaceutical medicines tested on animals? For example, if they needed to treat a serious illness, should they budge against their morals and use the medicine?

what are your thoughts?
Answers:
Medicine and Morals are different things.Do what you want to do.
If it was a drug you needed to treat a serious bug, that drug most likely wouldn't have been tested on animals. When drug companies assessment their medications, they usually do studies on patients who already have that disease to see if the drug is effective at treating that disease and also to see if it's undisruptive to use.
Don't know what Happy to Help is talking about. ALL medicine at one time or another incorporated the use of animals in their development. At this point in time, it is inescapable. Animals enjoy to be used for development of therapeutic agents. I think that those who refute use of animals for scientific investigation should refrain from using any drug so obtained, or for that thing, any procedure that may have been developed using animals. Otherwise, the word hippocrate comes to mind.
