I Want To Become A Vet And All I Wanted To Know Really Was If The Vet Techs Do The Surgeries, My Dad Got Me All Confused!?

NO. Absolutely not. Vet techs can pretty much do anything except for these three things: surgery, prescribe medications, diagnose illnesses.
Techs can do minor procedures such as dental cleanings, ear flushes, etc. However spays, neuters and any other surgery is only done by a veterinarian and it is against the imperative for a vet tech to perform those procedures.
