Is it okay to mix DayQuil next to Morphine?
I just took one dose of Dayquil as I have been for a while sick and I am prescribed morphine for chronic back pain from an accident, 10 mg. Is it okay for me to appropriate them both together? The 10mg and the 1 dose of DayQuil? Would be nice to hear from professionals such as Doctors, Nurses ect.

DayQuil's active ingredients are: Acetaminophen 325 mg, Dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg, Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg
* Acetaminophen (pain reliever/fever reducer)
* Dextromethorphan (cough suppressant)
* Phenylephrine (nasal decongestant)
It should not be taken by people who drink a lot of alcohol, who are taking other medicine containing acetaminophen, or who are using a prescribed monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Large amounts of caffeine should also be avoided.
Morphine is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. Morphine long-acting tablets and capsules are only used by patients who are expected to want medication to relieve moderate to severe pain around-the-clock for longer than a few days. Morphine is in a class of medications call opiate (narcotic) analgesics. It works by changing the way the body senses pain.
