Dermographism and Sharp chest/kidney pains?
I just got diagnosed with Dermographism two weeks after thanksgiving surrounded by 08'. It is very frustrating and the medications I am on are not working at adjectives. My knees, and joints hurt, and my hands also swell up to where I cannot put my rings on. Also...lately, I own been having extreme pains. They differ from my lower abdominal area within the hypogastric region I believe, to around my kidneys, and in my right chest under my breast. My pains hurt so bad and I am not sure if Dermographism have anything to do with this since my pains occured around the same time my break outs started. I am in flawless athletic shape, 19 years old and have played sports all my natural life. However, recently I have had extreme shortness of breath when walking around my colleges campus/up hill and sometimes the pain follows. I have been worrying my self to passing about my pains and I don't think anything is seriously wrong with me. I'm sick of going to the doctor because they merely put me on different varieties of medicine that only build me antsy and sedated. If anyone knows what I should do or what my symptoms are...please help. Any information is better than no information because I am completely clueless.

The pain you are describing is not usually related to your problem. I would suggest that you either have a heart to heart w/ your Dr. or try to find another Dr. If you can, stir to a teaching hospital for help. They are usually better informed & seem to love the resist of a unique case. You also have more family for the Dr's to bounce ideas off of. The pain that you're describing, does NOT own anything to do with dermography. This sounds more like heart or lung problems that you're experiencing. You need to be in motion and see a doctor to refer you onto either a pulmonologist and/or respirologist, and also to a cardiologist. I hope that this helps.
